3/10: It’s still too hot and the muggy, humid dew points aren’t falling fast enough. Chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the day, mainly to the south.

  • This day: Chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs: Lows in the mid 90s.
  • Tonight: Mostly clear, light breeze. Minimum: 60s.
  • Morning: Sunny, windy. Highs: mid 70s to near 80s.
  • Sunday: Sunny, light breeze. Highs: mid 70s to near 80s.

We have one last hot day today before relief from the heat and humidity arrives tomorrow and Sunday. We will see a strong chance of a storm today, only slight, and mainly to the south of the city. The breeze may be a bit annoying for some for the next two or three days, but it can also be refreshing at times. Temperatures remain comfortable until the new work week, but even then the heat and humidity are slow to build.

Today is Friday): The sky is partly or mostly sunny and it feels quite summery. We may see slight chances of rain, especially from midday to late afternoon. Thunderstorms, perhaps in the afternoon, can favor the south and southeast of the city. A couple could be strong. Before that, there are likely to be high temperatures in the 90s and 90s. West-southwest winds around 15 mph could gust to 25-30 mph. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: Skies should remain mostly clear. Northwesterly breezes near 10 mph are attempting to continue to bring in drier, cooler air. Although temperatures may only drop to the 60s across the region, they will feel nicer than we’ve had recently. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow Saturday): Sunny with lower humidity (dew points below 50 degrees!). Northwesterly winds are the mechanism that brings us this cooler, drier air, but they can gust close to 25 mph. Couldn’t be an easy transition, huh? High temperatures are currently pointing in the mid 70’s to near 80 degrees. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: Skies should remain mostly clear. The breezes try to calm down, but slowly. Low temperatures bottom out in the 50s across the region. Time to open windows! Confidence: Medium-High

June 16 (Sunday): The sun and pleasant temperatures continue. A double party shared with Father’s Day. Ideal for everyone who has high temperatures from the mid 70’s to near 80 degrees again. Dew points can get very dry, in the 30s, producing some static electricity again or even some dry skin. Time lash! A slight breeze is still possible. Confidence: Medium

Sunday night: The sky may turn partly cloudy. Breezes should die down. Low temperatures drop back into crisp territory: 50 across the region. Confidence: Medium-High

The 80s are back for high temperatures in Monday and Tuesday, along with some more clouds. High temperatures are targeting around the 80s to mid 80s on Monday, and the mid to upper 80s on Tuesday. Dew points are no longer dry, but not really wet territory either. A missed shower is possible for Tuesday as well. Confidence: Medium
