Hallmark’s 2022 Christmas Movie Schedule is Officially Here

It’s officially fall, which means cooler temperatures, changing leaves, and looking forward to all the Hallmark Christmas movies you’ll be seeing soon. The network has announced its countdown schedule for Christmas 2022, with heartwarming and family-friendly programming kicking off on Friday, October 21.

Hallmark Christmas movies will be shown 24 hours a day on Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Additionally, subscribers to the Hallmark Movies Now streaming service will have access to more than 150 holiday movies, with new content added every week.

We’ve got the full rundown, with some movies that are sure to become new favorites. So mark your calendar and make sure you have everything you need to cozy up on the couch because, as they say in this promo video, it’s going to be “more sweater than ever.”

Starting Friday, October 21, a new holiday movie will premiere on the Hallmark Channel every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8pm EST. You can also catch a new holiday movie every Saturday at 10pm EST on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Some of the Hallmark Christmas movies you can look forward to include:

  • “Noel Next Door” kicks off the Countdown to Christmas movie lineup. Starring Natalie Hall as a working single mother who exchanges words with her seemingly grumpy neighbor, played by Corey Sevier. At first, she thinks he is trying to ruin Christmas, but she finds out that she might have misunderstood him. This movie opens on Friday, October 21 at 8 pm EST.
  • “A Holiday Spectacular,” set in 1958, stars Ginna Claire Mason as Maggie, who puts her wedding plans on hold and runs away to New York City to dance at the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. The film also features Ann-Margret, Eve Plumb, Derek Klena, and the Radio City Rockettes. This movie premieres on Sunday, November 27 at 8 pm EST.
  • “The Holiday Sitter,” starring Jonathan Bennett and George Krissa, is Hallmark’s first Christmas movie with an LGBTQ couple in the spotlight. Workaholic Sam is taking care of his sister and brother-in-law, who are on a trip out of town. Feeling overwhelmed, he turns to his handsome neighbor Jason for help. This movie premieres on Sunday, December 11 at 8 pm EST.
  • Hanukkah on Rye celebrates the Festival of Lights. Starring Jeremy Jordan, Yael Grobglas, and Lisa Loeb, this film finds rival deli owners paired up by a matchmaker. But can their romance top their competition? This movie premieres on Sunday, December 18 at 8 pm EST.

Get ready to enjoy stars from previous Hallmark Christmas movies including Lacey Chabert, Tyler Hynes, Jodie Sweetin, Alison Sweeney and Luke Macfarlane. Other familiar faces featured include Beau Bridges, Marlo Thomas, Jack Wagner, Holly Robinson Peete and Marilu Henner.
