Have you ever wanted to live in your own castle? This Ohio house is for you

Despite owner Bradley Delp’s glamorous renovations, including $6 million in construction costs, Insider reported that the family only lived in the waterfront property for two years before moving to Florida, leaving the house vacant in the decade since.

“It took four years to build the new house because there was an existing house on the lot that we had to tear down,” Delp told the outlet. Additional costs and time were incurred for custom furniture and interior furnishings.

Listing records at Reatlor.com show the house has been listed multiple times since 2018, with an initial listing of nearly $4 million in 2018 before it was reduced to the current price of $2.5 million. The Effler/Schmitt Co. listing even boasts that the house is priced at less than half the construction price of the house.
