WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY IN MARYLAND

Meteorologist Ava Marie says Tuesday is an impact weather day with the risk of scattered severe thunderstorms, mostly before 1 p.m.

The rains will be with us until late afternoon and we will see temperatures climb into the 70s in most of the area. Make sure you have a way to receive severe weather alerts throughout the day and a plan to get inside safely if a storm is coming.

It won’t be as hot but it will still be humid, with clear skies tonight with only a stray storm possible tonight or Wednesday. It will get warmer again on Wednesday through the end of the week, but will be pleasantly cooler and less humid over the weekend.
