well happy tuesday everyone today is going to be a very hot and humid day as we have heat advisories in place until tonight and then yes we will again tomorrow. In fact, the weekend is when we get a little cooler and less humid. So that’s good news there. But we will stay above normal in terms of our temperatures again going into next week. So let’s take a look at our humidity levels, let’s see all the yellow and green. That’s just to let you know, we have high humidity or high humidity today. All the way through Thursday. You can see that it continues on Friday. We’re going to have high humidity levels, but by Saturday and Sunday, which of course is Father’s Day and June 16, it should feel much better, less humid. It will still be warm during the day, but less humid as we go through the day. So as we look outside, Super Doppler live for not showing much of anything in our area specifically, except for a very isolated shower going into Asheville. You can see there are thunderstorms well north of Virginia as we look at the next 1-2 weeks, warmer than average. That will definitely be the case not only in our area specifically, but throughout the region. There are also going to be high humidity levels again next week and drier than average. So will it really rain this week? Well, there are a couple of possibilities, but it’s not necessarily widespread torrential rain. So our heat advisory is in effect for parts of at least most of the upstate until 8 p.m. And then of course the temperatures and humidity levels will be more or less the same tomorrow throughout the day. This day. You may see an isolated shower or downpour. I think there is a slightly higher chance that we could see that tomorrow, but again still pretty isolated, nothing widespread, nothing soaking wet as we go through the day tomorrow. Better chances of maybe *** some more scattered showers as we go tomorrow afternoon and again tomorrow night. And then another chance of rain on Thursday. But it’s going to follow a similar pattern where not everyone gets wet. We’re just going to feed off that extra moisture in the atmosphere. So high in the upper nineties for the next few days. Mid to Ninety Thursday Friday. So let’s go down a couple of degrees. But it’s really not going to make a big difference in terms of how you feel out there. We’ll have to wait until the weekend until we get back into the low nineties and even high eighties across the entire upstate. And then in the mountains. Yes, we will be in the 90s and 90s for the next couple of days, and we will be back in the 80s for daytime highs. But do you see that the nightly loads will start to cool down on Sunday and Monday? Yes
