What time is the Belmont Stakes today? Post time, TV channel, horses and more to watch the 2022 race

The last Triple Crown race of 2022 is here. The Belmont Stakes will take place on Saturday and, as usual, will provide a unique test of endurance for all eight horses.

Neither horse has a shot at the Triple Crown in 2022, but Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike can win his second jewel race at Belmont. The unlikely 80-1 shot, coming in at the last minute at Churchill Downs, stunned everyone in the derby with his victory over Epicenter before opting out of the Preakness.

Rich Strike is one of the top contenders in the eight-horse field, but he’ll face some challenges from We the People, Mo Donegal and Nest, among others. The length of the Belmont makes it difficult to predict, as racehorses run very few 1 1/2-mile races, so it should be another exciting finish, just as we saw in the previous two Triple Crown races.

Both die-hard and casual horse racing fans will be looking to watch the Belmont and previous coverage. Here’s what time the event is and how fans can watch and stream it live.
